But the Bible says...

“…women should be silent in the churches. For they are not permitted to speak, but should be subordinate, as the law also says. If there is anything they desire to know, let them ask their husbands at home. For it is shameful for a woman to speak in church,” 1 Corinthians 14:34–35.
If I didn’t know any better, I would think that the Apostle Paul was speaking directly to me and other 21st-century women. I just wish more women, specifically Black women, would know this for themselves.
Unfortunately, misinterpretation and misrepresentation of Paul’s words have silenced many women who are gifted, anointed, and called to the pew, pulpit, and public spaces.
Even so, there are women who are ready to go forth and use their voices, but they can’t get past Paul’s words that appear to prohibit them from leading in religious spaces.
That’s why I’m offering a three-day intensive to interrogate and excavate Paul’s ancient words. These sessions are designed for those who are serious about studying scriptures and applying God’s liberating words to their lives.
If that’s you, or if you know someone who is trying to make sense of Paul’s words and God’s call, register today by using the QR Code in the photo or clicking this link:
